The Departments of Standards Malaysia has in February accredited the Malaysia´s first biodiesel blend known as Envodiesel (B5) the national standard. The accreditation notes a new progress in the field of research and development of the Malaysia´s biodiesel.

The standard has been coded under section Petroleum and Gas (MS 2007:2007 P) with the name of B5 Palm Biofuel Blend-Spefication.
